"Let us not be too particular; it is better to have old secondhand diamonds than none at all” - Mark Twain

The Benefits of buying second hand:
1) Cheap & Cheerful
2) Better for the environment as no new materials, fuel, or energy is spent on clothes which you barely wear
3) Old is Gold: nothing can replace the unique fashion that has been lost through the years. As I said in my last post, we've all become clones of one another. However, once upon a time people used to embrace the idea of individuality and more importantly embrace their own taste.

Here's an ebay shop I recently found (very exciting!)

and a few of my favourites which are own sale now...

"Grandmothers are just antique little girls." - Anon
This baggy cardigan gives you a hint of 'grandma chic' but allows you to feel young if you team it up with some high waisted skinny jeans and a nude strap top underneath.

"In the nude, all that is not beautiful is obscene" - Robert Bresson
My favourite! - the pure, fleshy nude coloured wool button down cardigan is not only smart but very cute.
Options: 1) Wear it as a mini dress with a slip underneath (or nothing if you're feeling daring) and a pair of boots
2) Wear as a coat with grey leggings and nude pumps

"Beware of people who dislike cats."- Irish Proverb

This adorable 1980s blue dress printed with kittens hanging onto the cloth can be worn on its own during the day or with a pair of over the knee socks and some heals during the night. Either way, be sure to accesorize with chunky bracelets and big gold earrings.
